“Once a Thief”, “Jack & Jill”, “Dangerous Minds”, “The Opposite of Sex”, “Charmed”, “Sundays at Tiffany’s” and “The Break-Up” are some of the movies and TV shows in which Ivan Sergei has participated.

His first role was in 1990 and since then he has not stopped. Nowadays, he is going to participate in the TV show “Twisted”, portraying Jack, a man of Karen’s (Denise Richards) past.

He can also be seen in two upcoming movies: “How to Make Love to Like an Englishman”, a comedy/romance film about a Cambridge poetry professor who finds a woman and forces him to reevaluate his life of hedonistic excess; and “Fatal Instinct”, in which a police detective follows a trail of evidence that eventually seems to lead to his trusted partner’s ex-con brother whom he helped put in prison years ago.

In a conversation with The Outsider Argentina, Ivan spoke about his newest role on Twisted, the popular TV show “Jack & Jill”, and the projects from this year.

How did you get the opportunity of being in Twisted?

In the audition, I had chemistry when I was reading the script with Denise Richards (@DENISE_RICHARDS), who portrays Karen character.

What can you tell us about your character there?

He LOVES Karen!

What was it like being on a supernatural show like Charmed?

Working in Charmed was a blast, but my character had no powers, not like Rose McGowan (@rosemcgowan) or Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) . Anyway, it was awesome.

What did Jack & Jill mean in your career?

It was a great opportunity with great people!

What can you tell us about “Hidden Away”?

It was the third film with Hybrid LLC (@HybridLLC) and the second one with Emmanuelle Vaugier. I play a bad man!

Which would be your dream role?

They are all dream roles. I love indie films with deep character work and comedies.

Which other projects do you have for this year?

For this year I have two movies, one with Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek, called “How to Make Love to Like an Englishman” and the other one, called “Fatal Instinct”.
